THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE SETTLING IN HUA HIN

Hua Hin, which is located in the southern region, is always compared to Chiang Mai, but it has a lot of added features which makes it different from Chiang Mai. A great first impression of Hua Hin is what you will feel when you first enter the town. It has a lot of beach. Some of the things to consider before setting down in Hua Hin are;

The feel of Hua Hin: Hua Hin is a big town with a nice feel when you first visit and subsequently. It has many multi-story buildings, outdoor night bazaars, indoor shopping areas, restaurants and bars and hotels where you can have the greatest free in Hua Hin. There are also many areas where you can get modern looking buildings and new construction, also a more established shop, bars and restaurants. It is a town where all businesses do well in a clean, revolutionary way. Being that Hua Hin is often home to Thai Royalty all but guarantees its prosperity and tidiness.
All around Hua Hin, you can find hawkers selling handmade crafts, tailors looming on their doorsteps, or beckoning calls of ‘’Tuk-tuk! Tuk-Tuk’’ block after city block.

The beach: This is somewhat expensive because it there some prime real estate, hotels and resorts found here. The beaches in Hua Hin are not overcrowded or dirty as the ones in other places. The waters of the beaches are darker grey blue, the sand is a mix of light tan and grey, unlike the usual white sand and crystalline waters of other beaches found in further southern regions in Thailand. The coastline is breath-taking and the beach slopes gradually into the Bay of Thailand where you can have waist-deep water.

The food: There are abundant of seafood in Hua Hin. So many waterfront restaurants are also located in Hua Hin where you can dine. Crabs, shrimp, squid, steamed mussels, fresh whole fish and clams make up most menu in Hua Hin. These are what you can miss at Chiang Mai. Some restaurants are serving international cuisine, Russian, Italian and Chinese restaurants are found here too. There are also local food vendors where you can get affordable Thai food like the mobile food vendors.

The nightlife in Hua Hin: A good nightlife in Hua Hin is not far located. When you get to Hua Hin on a weekend, you will get the best nightlife ever in your life. There are a series of waterfront streets that had the music bumping and club lighting. If it is your thing to meet ladies, there are plenty of pretty ladies around to meet.

Getting around: It is easy to get around Hua Hin, which has a major highway of four-lane running from north to south along the coastline. Several stop lights are found in Hua Hin where you will experience a bit of traffic. The preferred mode of transportation in Hua Hin is a car that adds to the congestion. You can rent a motorbike to get easily around Hua Hin to avoid traffic that can be annoying when you use a car sometimes.

Overall I rate Hua Hin and Cha-am about 3rd on my picks of best places to retire in Thailand.
